Welcome to the 14th Hawke's Bay Rapid!The Hawke's Bay Rapid is currently the only NZCF and FIDE rated tournament in Hawke's Bay.
The format is a 6 round Swiss, comprising three separate tournaments: A (open), B (below 1800) and Junior (under 20 years of age and under 1200). The time control for each tournament is 25 minutes with 5 seconds increment starting from move 1.
Prizes include $1320 cash and award winning Hawke's Bay wines.
