Join ULV and the Southern California Chapter of ASPA for the 14th annual Randall Lewis Leadership in Public Service Series Networking Dinner, sponsored by Mr. Randall Lewis and the Lewis Group of Companies, with speaker Rick Cole.
Speaker Bio:
Rick Cole spent four decades in public service prior to being elected in 2024. He has previously been a Pasadena Councilmember and Mayor; City Manager in Azusa, Ventura and Santa Monica; and Deputy Mayor and Chief Deputy Controller for the City of LA. Called “one of Southern California’s most visionary planning thinkers,” he served as a Planning Commissioner prior to his return to the Council. Rick is Pasadena's representative on the San Gabriel Valley Council of Government's Homelessness Committee, serves on the City Council Finance and Municipal Services Committees and is a member of the Pasadena Fire and Police Pension Board.
Rick has been recognized nationally as one of America’s “Public Officials of the Year” by Governing Magazine and won awards for his expertise in municipal management from the American Association of Public Administrators and the Municipal Management Association of Southern California. His hallmark has always been how to improve results for people, striving for “government that works better and costs less.”
