Celebrating Patsy Cline, Inc. and the Patsy Cline Historic House invites you to the 14th Annual Patsy Cline Block Party, a free community event on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 10 AM to 4 PM! An old-fashioned style block party, staged on the 600 Block of South Kent Street between Monmouth and Germain Streets every year on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend, the day celebrates Patsy Cline’s Birthday and contribution to American Culture with live music by local and regional musicians featuring Patsy Cline and Country Music!
Sit back and enjoy the live music while drinking the signature drinks Patsy Cline served up at the counter of Gaunt's Drugstore! Then take a special $5 tour of the Patsy Cline Historic House and learn how Patsy spent her days as a soda jerk with a special Patsy’s Homegrown Roots exhibit! Patsy Cline Merchandise will also be available for purchase and Fried Rite and Gringo Gordo Food Trucks will make sure you don’t leave the event hungry!
The 14th Patsy Cline Block Party is sponsored in part by Virginia Humanities and Virginia is for Lovers.
Parking: Street Parking is limited; Park & Ride for Free at the Winchester-Frederick County Visitor Center (1400 S. Pleasant Valley Road) and ride the trolley to and from the Block Party. The Trolley will run continuously throughout the day at no charge to riders.
