Sharing for community Greetings,
The 14th annual Four Chaplains Service Saturday February 7, 2026 at Westside Christian Church, 2712 West Harvard Ave., Roseburg, OR 97471 is a month away. It is my hope that you plan to attend. The story of the Four Chaplains is a story of sacrifice, courage and love for others that must be told to each generation of Americans. I am very pleased that this important story has become more well known in our community than it was in 2011.
Since 2016 there has been 57 outstanding members of our community inducted into the Four Chaplains Legion of Honor. Many organizations and individuals have been given certificates of appreciation for their part in the presentations of the Four Chaplains story. The names of these individuals and organizations have been enshrined in the plaque at the Roseburg American Legion Post 16, and on the beautiful mural on the wall of the Rosburg Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2468 war memorial.
On Saturday, February 7, 2026 there shall be a "meet and greet" beginning at 11:30 AM with the service beginning at 12:00 Noon. Please sharešš¼
Roseburg Sea Cadets will be there.
