Celebrate the 151st Kentucky Derby, “the most exciting two minutes in sports,” as the Bank of Colorado and NOCO Unify brings Churchill Downs to Northern Colorado at our 14th Annual Down & Derby Party, May 3, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. returning to The Grainhouse at Raindance. Tune in to our live action stream of the race, groove to live music, dance, compete in the lauded Hat/Best Dressed Contest, and take part in the other shenanigans that will make you smile all day long. Did we mention there’s an auction for you to bid on great prizes and the raffle for the 2026 Kentucky Derby trip? We are here to raise much-needed funds for underprivileged kids in Northern Colorado. Oh, and there are always a few surprises. You get the idea, right? It’s just a darn fun time. ONCE AGAIN THIS YEAR... everyone is a VIP! Die-hard Derby go-er? Don’t miss the Advance Ticket Sale Event on Thursday, April 3rd from 9am - 6pm! It’s our annual way to draw some early excitement and reward those diehard Derby go-ers.
The Down & Derby Party is a 21-and-over event.
All tickets to this must-attend event of the season include the tastiest fare, beverages, games, and, of course, the traditional Mint Julep as your welcome cocktail (or Champagne).

This event benefits charities serving youth in Northern Colorado. This year’s primary beneficiaries are: Children's Museum of Northern Colorado, Teaching Tree Early Childhood Learning Center and A Woman's Place.
