The German-American Society will be celebrating it's 141st German Day- Oktoberfest on September 19th & 20th , 2025. September 19th 5:00 pm - 12 midnight and September 20th 12:00 noon - 12 midnight. Come be part of the history of the oldest and largest German Cultural event in the State of Nebraska. The some of the best live Polka and Brass music around. Traditional German Dancers and Singers. Large variety of traditional German food and desserts. And a large variety of German Import Beers and Liquors. Our Fest is also very family friendly with German style Marionette show on Saturday plus face painters and carneval style games for the kids. There are also adult games like Hammerschlagen and Steinslide available with prizes, and also Bierkrugstemmen ( steinhoist) for ones with strong muscles. There will also be a booth selling Cultural items, Glassware , Hats, T- Shirts and German Wines and Ciders. we also have the Torte Haus serving delicous Torte and Coffee and right next door is the German-American Heritage Museum of Omaha. So mark your calendars for the 19th & 20th of September for the premier German celebration in Nebraska celebrating 141 years of tradition. Bis Später and see you there.
