At a time when most parents and their children are looking ahead to a new school year, Kim and TJ Burch are remembering the loss of their son, Nolan, ten years ago, when his life was taken due to a fraternity hazing. Because of this terrible tragedy, Kim and TJ have spent the last ten years taking their story to schools, universities and community groups, both locally and throughout the United States. It is their hope that by sharing their story of the loss of their beloved son, Nolan, many lives will be saved, and Nolan's memory will be honored with each story told and every life saved.As part of the Common Ground Speaker Series at Calvary Episcopal Church, Kim and TJ Burch will share their story of the hazing death of their son, Nolan and their journey to prevent this from happening to others. On Sunday a light lunch will be served from 11:30 am, followed by the presentation at 12 noon, and concluding with a Question & Answer period to end at approximately 1:30 pm.
