Join us for the 13th Annual Roast Your Rump Zumba Community Charity Event on Thanksgiving morning, November 28, 2024, from 9:00 – 10:15 a.m. at Ascension Genesys Health Club (host venue) in Grand Blanc, Michigan! The goal and purpose of this charity event is to collect donations of cereal for the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan's Backpack Program to help feed the children in the Greater Flint/Genesee County area during the holidays.
Each year, a team of Zumba Instructors from Mid- and Southeast Michigan team up to instruct 75-90 minutes of Zumba® dance fitness to help support the cause, which has grown to become a much-anticipated popular charity event to benefit the children in the community during the holidays. Together, we hope to collect 500-1,000 pounds of cereal for the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan's Backpack Program. All cereal donated and collected at the Roast Your Rump event is delivered to participating BackPack Program schools around Genesee County by the Food Bank.

We invite you to join us in our efforts to feed the children....and what better and fun way to do it than with a dance workout on Thanksgiving morning!
NO CHARGE FOR THE EVENT! Just a donation of at least 2 or more boxes of cereal is your admission ticket to this fantastic Thanksgiving morning event where you can support a great cause and fun community charity event - AND enjoy an exhilarating dance workout before your Thanksgiving Day festivities!
OTHER WAYS TO HELP
If you cannot attend, please donate a few boxes of cereal to the cause. Donation boxes are placed throughout the host venue during the month of November to allow for cereal drop-off even before the day of the event. The 2024 Roast Your Rump Zumba Community Charity Event will be held at Ascension Genesys Health Club in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Or, you may contact one of the participating Zumba instructors and give your cereal boxes to them if you are unable to attend.
RYR CEREAL DONATION DROP-OFF LOCATIONS
If you have a business location and would like to help us collect cereal donations for the 2023 Roast Your Rump Zumba Community Charity Event, please contact Mitch at [email protected]. Arrangements can be made to have a donation box dropped off or placed at your business between November 1 – 27, 2024, for the collection of cereal donations to benefit the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan’s Backpack Program. Pick-up arrangements of the cereal donations from your business location may also be made at that time. Drop-off locations will be listed on the Roast Your Rump (RYR) website and RYR Facebook event page.
