The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation is hosting the 13th Annual Grow Green Match Day. On this day, eligible donations made to participating nonprofit endowed funds will receive a 50% match, helping organizations meet immediate needs while growing their long-term sustainability.
Ways to Give:
🔹In-Person – Colony Square Atrium from 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
🔹Online – GrowGreenManhattan.com from 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM
🔹By Mail – Donations must be received (not postmarked) by April 22, 2025, due to mail delays. Any gifts received after this date will still be given to nonprofits but will not qualify for matching funds. Mail donations to GMCF, P.O. Box 1127, Manhattan, KS 66505. The 2025 Grow Green Match Day Giving Form will be available online after March 17.
🔹In-Person at Meadowlark’s Remote Donation Station – Prairie Star Restaurant, 2121 Meadowlark Rd, Manhattan, KS, from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Visitors should enter through the Prairie Star doors, located just west of Meadowlark’s Main Entrance (look for the Prairie Star sign). Visitor parking is located just south of the restaurant along Meadowlark Road. Enjoy special menu items at Prairie Star Restaurant, fitting the Grow Green Match Day theme.
How it Works:
🔹Donations go directly to nonprofits for immediate needs.
The 50% match will be added to their endowed funds at GMCF.
🔹Individual gifts between $25 - $1,000 per organization qualify for a $0.50 per $1 match.
🔹Each nonprofit can receive up to $7,500 in matching funds.
Bonus Opportunity:
Each hour, one donor attending in person at Colony Square Atrium will be drawn to give an additional $100 to a participating nonprofit of their choice.
