We are so excited to share the winning book of the 2025 CLC Book Award, “I Know How to Draw an Owl” by Hilary Horder Hippely 🦉📖🌟The CLC book award is an award given to a book that demonstrates Compassion, Love, and/or Courage. This award has a very specific criteria with our aim to encourage and support an author in the early years of their career. 📚💙
This year’s book is a little different!
When our book award committee chose “I Know How to Draw an Owl”, the CLC Book Award was going to be the very first and only award for the book! However, not just us here at the CLC have recognized the meaningful and significant story that this book holds!
Since the book has been chosen for our award, “I Know How to Draw an Owl” has amassed over 7 awards/nominations! 8 including our CLC Book Award! 🌟🏆
