We are very excited to host our 13th annual Archaeology Day on May 3rd!Activities include:
• Decorating rock art and pottery
• Excavation and mapping
• Flint-knapping
• Spear throwing with an atlatl
• Storytelling
• And more!
This free, family-friendly event supports National Preservation Month and Georgia Archaeology Month’s message to educate the public about the significance of protecting and preserving Georgia’s archaeological sites.
Parking will be available around our campus, and we will have a drop-off/pick-up zone as well.
