"13 Years in the Shadows" is a look back at a point in my life that forged the person that I'm now. Realising that over those years I slowly lost my innocence growing up between two cultures, languages, and countries. I was forced to grow up fast, while living in a state of vigilance in a new home that did not always welcome me. I lived in the shadows in fear, until one day I was allowed to step out to the light.
