Contributions of Ancient DNA to Understanding the Human Past: from Peopling to Present in the Caribbean by Kendra Sirak, Ph.D.Dr. Sirak will discuss her research with colleagues using ancient DNA to inform archaeological reconstructions of human populations, interaction and mobility. Her presentation will focus on the methods involved in extracting viable human genomic data from archaeological populations and the powerful results generated from regional datasets.
