❄️ 12th Annual Worst Day of the Year Ride! ☃️Maybe it’ll snow. Maybe it’ll sleet. Maybe it’ll be 45 and sunny and we’ll all overdress. Who knows? It might suck, but it’ll be the best sucky ride ever.
It’s the shortest day of the year (well, the day before bc we didn't want to do it on Sunday) the least daylight, and the holidays are knocking, so naturally, we’re celebrating by riding bikes and grabbing drinks together. 🎄🍻
We’ll roll a casual 6–8 miles (depending on weather) to check out some lights, make a stop at Tanners for dinner and drinks and soak up the chaos that is Wisconsin winter riding. Fat bikes and mountain bikes are best, but if you’re feeling bold, bring whatever you’ve got. Someone always does.
Pro tip: Park at Tanners and ride to the shop, you’ll thank us later when your post-ride route is about 100% shorter and 200% warmer. 😉
This is a slow, conversational pace (about 10–12 mph), in-town ride. Helmets, headlights, and taillights are required. A good sense of humor is strongly recommended.
