The mini-Pride vibe is strong! This location keeps it in the Riverside neighborhood but allows us to welcome more runners/walkers, sponsors, and vendors. We're planning both the 5K and 1M routes to cruise past JASMYN, then the 5K takes off down Riverside to the former Landing site and returns along the Riverwalk. Look for packet pick-ups in two locations again, and some surprises that will make you smile. All proceeds from Strides for Pride benefit LGBTQIA+ teen and young adult programs at JASMYN.
Everyone who registers gets a race shirt and a medal, and the first 150 chipped runners to cross the finish line get a limited edition Strides '23 hat!
Free parking is provided for runners/walkers at the Florida Blue parking garage at Forest and Park Streets, and can also be found along the streets surrounding the venue!

Race Rankings, Including Age & Gender Categories:
Back by popular demand, we will be reintroducing race rankings and recognition for age categories, and each will have Top 3 Female/Male/Nonbinary rankings as well as Top 3 Overall. If you wish to be included in race rankings, please designate a gender during registration. This will be used solely for the purpose of race rankings and otherwise, it can remain unchecked if you wish. Please understand that if gender’s not checked, we cannot include the participant in the rankings.
While bragging rights will be your prize for placement, you will get to have a photo made with a special sign you can hold for your category, and photos will be downloadable after the event.
Strides Streaker Recognition:
If you have participated in all 11 Strides races and will be taking part this year as well, you are a Strides Streaker! Once we verify your participation, you will receive a special prize each year that you return, including this one.
Rainbow Runner Recognition:
Starting with our 2022 5K, JASMYN will track runners/walkers who register 3 years consecutively. So 2024 will be the first year anyone who has participated in 3 Strides consecutively will get a special t-shirt upgrade in a color that signifies your commitment to LGBTQIA+ teens and young adults at JASMYN. At year 10, you will also get a special gift to honor your ongoing support of JASMYN.
Pets for Pride Photo Contest:
Our fun and fabulous Pets for Pride Photo Contest moves to June of this year and will be part of our Pride celebration. Stay tuned for more info on how your pet can get in the running to be the next JASMYN Mascot. In the meantime, get ready to Stride for Pride!
