River Raisin Ragtime Revue’s Ragtime Extravaganza free festival returns to the PlaneWave Campus for this year’s Fourth of July weekend and includes a day of live music and family events capped off with a community fireworks display. The event will be held Saturday, July 6 and runs from 2PM until the fireworks at dark. This year’s Extravaganza features local, regional, and national talent. Bands include the Adrian City Band under the direction of Brian Gorski; the local Tejano ensemble Los Hermanos; Miss Maybell and Charlie Judkins, a ragtime and early jazz duo from New York City; and the River Raisin Ragtime Revue orchestra. This free family festival also features a children’s magic show, an instrument petting zoo, children’s face-painting, games, and a bounce house. Local artists from the Adrian Center for the Arts will exhibit and offer creations for sale. PlaneWave Instruments will offer science tours. A variety of festival food trucks and craft beer and wine will be offered. The event is capped off by a grand finale fireworks display over the beautiful PlaneWave campus.SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
