The 12th Annual OneWorld Multicultural Festival is dedicated to the memory of Penticton Indian Band Elder Grace Greyeyes, who was instrumental in fostering relationships that built bridges across cultures.
Affectionately known as “Gramma” Grace, she was a tireless advocate for unity and understanding whose contributions continue to inspire us all. She opened every OneWorld Multicultural Festival with a prayer and welcome, supported SOICS events and learning sessions, and often borrowed the flags that line the festival entrance for cultural ceremonies.
Grace remains ever-present in our thoughts and hearts—she is deeply missed but forever cherished.
