ome ride in the 12th Annual Montclair Bikery Turkey Ride! Enjoy riding with your friends on this chilly, flat 15 mile ride while helping out those in need. We’ll stop at the Brookdale Shoprite to buy a frozen turkey and ride with this in our backpacks or panniers to the Human Needs Food Pantry at 9 Label Street in Montclair. Turkeys will be distributed to families in need for Thanksgiving! After party at Egan & Sons, 118 Walnut Street, Montclair.Can’t ride but still want to make a difference? When: Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024
Day of Registration: 9:00 a.m. at the Montclair Bikery. The ride begins at 10 a.m.
Who: All riders must be 18 or 13+ accompanied by an adult. All riders must wear helmets
Where: The route will be provided that morning and will start and finish at the Montclair Bikery.
Distance will be 15 miles. All riders are recommended to dress for very cold weather.
Food: Donuts and coffee pre-ride provided by the Montclair Bikery. Snacks and hot drinks provided at Egans after the turkey drop-off.
Cost: The ride is free, but bring $21cash per turkey to spend at the supermarket. You can buy and donate more than one turkey if desired. A van is available to take your extra turkeys to the Human Needs Food Pantry.
