Join us for The Instant Film Society’s 12th Annual Rain-or-Shine #PolaWalk at The State Fair of Texas as we meet-up with fellow film photographers to walk the fairgrounds while snapping frames.All cameras welcome.
Only the Instant Film Scavenger Hunt will be “instant-film only.”
We hope y’all are looking forward to hanging out and shooting together on Opening Day of the fair! Bring your favorite instant film cameras, a couple packs of film and plenty of cash to buy tickets for a Fletcher's Original State Fair Corny Dog, Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Waffle Balls or a funnel cake (with or without a Community Beer Co. Funnel Cake Ale).
Attendees will need to purchase admission to the fair online or at the fairgrounds’ gates upon entry. A ticket to PolaCon does not include admission to the fair.

IFS members and PolaCon attendees will meet-up *BEHIND* Big Tex at noon, 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. (Look for the rainbow umbrella.)

*Post PolaWalk: Head to Denton for a cool concert, welcome party and some surprises.
All cameras allowed. No, you don’t have to have an instant film camera to tag along on the walk, but State Fair Scavenger Hunt images must be on instant film (and must not be a digital image printed on instant film, nor are ZINK images acceptable). The scavenger hunt list will post by 10 a.m. on the Day One of #PolaCon8.
