12TH ANNUAL CONNIE DAVIS WALK March 2025
The Connie Davis Walk to Conquer Cancer (formerly Connie Davis 5k Walk & Roll) will take place on Saturday, March 1st at 9:00 AM PST (Late Registration Begins at 8:00 AM PST) at Pyramid Canyon Day Use Area at Heritage Greenway Park & Trails. This event’s proceeds benefit The River Fund, Inc. Cancer Connection and will provide continuous support to those who are fighting to beat the odds within our Colorado River Region.
Completing this awareness walk is a remarkable achievement and one that is enhanced when you are supported by friends, family, and colleagues. Here at the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce, we are all about setting goals and teamwork. In the spirit of The River Fund, Inc. Cancer Connection, we invite you to form a team and join us at the Annual Connie Davis Walk to Conquer Cancer! Anyone can participate in this event whether you are walking, running, or donating to the cause. Children and pets are welcome as well. Sidewalks are paved for scooters, wheelchairs & strollers. Stick around for the fun afterwards!

TEAM INFORMATION
Our annual cancer walk is not like any other, ALL the money raised for this event goes to The River Fund, Inc. Cancer Connection, which means ALL the money stays in the Colorado River Region!
Why form a team?
Contact a friend or relative that is unable to walk (but can roll!) and be their engine!
Train together and inspire each other. A team provides great motivation to reach a personal goal, and you can enjoy time with others!
Team participation creates great community visibility for a company or organization. Show your company/organization’s spirit at the walk!
Make a pledge to a healthy lifestyle with your friends, family, and/or co-workers!
Who can create teams?
Anyone can create a team! We invite companies, organizations, neighbors, and clubs to gather their colleagues, family and friends to make this an awesome annual tradition. There is no limit to the team size.
How do I sign up as part of a team?
Once a team has been established; pick a team name. Each team member can register for the walk by:

What does it cost to enter as a team?
There are no additional fees for registering as a team. Everyone is responsible for their registration fee. Each registration fee is only $30. Of course, we are also accepting donations for those who choose not to walk and just enjoy the party!
Can we make our own shirts?
Absolutely! Team shirts are encouraged however, your $30 entry fee includes a T-shirt! (while sizes/supplies last)
Who can participate in this event?
ANYONE – There is no age restriction for this event. Bring the kids, the whole family and even pets are welcome if they are on a leash. There is a clear and paved path as well as a dirt track for those who choose to walk, run, operate a motorized scooter or push a wheelchair or stroller.

T-Shirt Sponsor - $500 (10 AVAILABLE)
A $500 sponsorship from you/your business ensures that your logo will be on 500 event shirts, the annual banner that hangs on the Chamber building for a year, booth space (10x10 area - Must provide table – E-Z Up – chairs etc.) in the North Reach Day Use Area to share information about your products or services, mentions in media now and after the event, and a brief shout out at the event.
FREE booth space to promote my business – (20 AVAILABLE - MEMBERS ONLY!)
This opportunity entitles you to FREE booth space area for your business (10x10 area - Must provide table – E-Z Up – chairs etc.) Hand out your business’ event information, fliers, coupons and special promotions! Be seen by over 500 participants before, during and after the event!
No sales permitted.
Things to consider handing out as a booth participant:
Promotional Items (Coupons, upcoming event fliers, special deals etc.)
Swag! (Pens, shirts, hats, reusable cups/water bottles etc.)
Personal Care Products (Sunscreen, chap stick, lotion, sanitizer, Kleenex, wipes, etc.)
Packaged Snacks (granola bars, fruit roll ups, crackers, chips etc.)
Fresh Fruit (Cannot be cut/sliced. Must be in original form.)
You can also give support by donating to the Picnic Lunch
