This retreat for men and women has one and only one purpose: to improve our conscious contact with our Higher Power. It is open to all, regardless of whether or not you are a member of a church. What to expect from the retreat:
A nurturing retreat center made sacred by the Passionist Sisters, it has been designed to be comfortable and spiritually nourishing.
Good food.
Presentations that help the retreatants seek interior peace and quiet and challenge them to take inventory of their daily practice of step eleven after reviewing the first nine steps and the maintenance steps.
Time for ritual prayer, the opportunity for sacraments for those who wish, and opportunities for morning and evening-directed meditation and prayer.
Opportunity for one-to-one spiritual counseling for 15 to 30-minute sessions by signing up for an appointment while on retreat.
The retreat will be led by Jim Greer, MS, CADC, LADC I, who has been a trained and experienced retreat leader for over 47 years. Jim has also been a member of AA, sober and clean for forty-eight years.
