ABOUT THE SHOW:
12 Incompetent Jurors is a live stage comedy and parody of 12 Angry Men by Ian McWethy.
A man is accused of abducting half a dozen cats.
The evidence is overwhelming. The case is open-and-shut. The defendant is clearly guilty.
Enter the jury.
A chaotic collection of oddballs fills the jury room, including a teenager who never looks up from her phone, a rage-filled boomer, a perpetually bickering couple, and one very confused individual who isn’t entirely sure how jury duty works.
The only person standing between the “Cat Burglar” and a guilty verdict is Juror #8, a wannabe lawyer determined to defend the indefensible. The only person with any sanity left is Juror #3, the exhausted voice of reason trying to hold it all together.
As deliberations drag on, the jury spirals into increasingly ridiculous territory, reenacting testimony, introducing questionable evidence, and arguing their way toward chaos.
Will justice be served, or will the cats have the last laugh? 12 Incompetent Jurors is a fast, funny, and fur-filled parody of 12 Angry Men that proves even the justice system isn’t safe from comedy.
