About this Event
Take some time out in nature and be inspired with the calming practice of nature journaling, in this session for adults. Join Environment Centre staff and learn the basics of nature journaling. Slow down, engage your senses, and take the time to observe and record what you see, hear, and feel. Nature journaling can be a wonderful form of meditative expression as you immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, all while receiving the incredible gifts our environment offers.
Please bring your own art materials:
- Unlined A4 sketchpad/notebook
- HB and 2B pencils, and any other materials you’d like to use.
- You might like to bring a stool, cushion, or picnic blanket to sit comfortably outdoors.
After the workshop feel free to visit the Environment Centre or remain in the reserve to continue with your project.
Bookings: Bookings required via Eventbrite. If you cannot attend an activity, please cancel your booking online via Eventbrite to open up the waitlist for others.
Age: Adults only (18+)
Cost: Free.
Requirements: Please bring your own art basic materials. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. Note: outdoor activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day. Please arrive ten minutes early.
