Ice is about the only thing these two chilly places have in common. Join us this December to learn about the two ends of our earth, why they’re so chilly, the cool critters that live in each place, and why these extreme ecosystems are worth protecting. Then we’ll make a wintery take home keepsake to remind us of what we learned. Registration required for all. Recommended learning levels: 2nd grade and up, all ages welcome.
Online registration is required. Non-members $10/student; members $6/student. Chaperones must register but they are FREE.
Parking is at the Fayette County Library (1821 Heritage Pkwy, Fayetteville, GA 30214) in the back left of the parking lot. There is a flag that marks the entry to the short trail that will lead you up to the nature center.
