Dear Community,
The Asian Culture Center of Tennessee extends our deepest thanks for your unwavering support over the past ten years. Our growth and successes have been extraordinary, largely because of the community participation in our events and your commitment to promoting Asian culture and cross-cultural education.
Today, we are announcing a change for the upcoming 11th Knox Asian Festival. We will be charging an entry fee to help cover the cost of the event. The ticket price will be $3 for adults and children over 12. Children 12 and under can attend for free. Tickets will be available for purchase online through Eventbrite. Given the limited ticket availability, we encourage you to reserve your spots as soon as possible. We will share further information as the event date approaches.
Historically, the Asian Culture Center of Tennessee has offered free entry to our festivals, relying on grants, corporate and government sponsorships, and the generous support of individual donors. Additionally, our daily operations and festival organization have depended on the dedication of unpaid volunteers. However, we must adapt to a model that will sustain us long-term as our outreach grows.
Introducing a modest entry fee will help us develop a more sustainable financial base, ensuring that the ACCT and Knox Asian Festival can continue for years to come. We remain a non-profit organization, dedicated to education and outreach.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to seeing you at the 11th Knox Asian Festival.
Warm regards,
Asian Culture Center of Tennessee
