The Sunnyside Events Committee, with the support and sponsorship from many community businesses, is PROUD to bring you the 11th ANNUAL Kids Lighted Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony to kick off the Christmas season in downtown Sunnyside!Santa and Mrs Claus will be joining us again this year!
Creativity is the KEY!
Registration Forms can be found here on this page in online format or paper forms are available to pick up and drop off at Robinson Licensing at 632 Decatur Avenue in Sunnyside, Monday- Friday from 9-5. Also, check out our FB page!
The first 100 pre-registrants are guaranteed to receive an event tee shirt in their size, a ticket for the bike drawing, and a goody bag containing things like; local business coupons, a cookie and hot chocolate ticket for the day of the parade, candies, a mochi and more! The next 50 registrants will receive a goody bag.
Every registrant will get a ticket to enter for the opportunity to walk away with a present from our 12 gifts of Christmas drawing!
As always, there will be some entry winners! Think most lights, most creative/festive, best group entry, etc. Categories will be posted soon! So check back!
If you don't have a little one (infant to age 14) to help create a magical entry with, please consider coming to line the streets and clap, cheer, holler for our participants and have a good time!
We have 2 vendor trucks to provide options for people to have dinner and dessert while you wait.
And we will of course sing some Christmas carols!
Registration begins at 5pm at the Gazebo on 6th and Edison.
Parade will begin at 6:30!
Fun will be had by all!
