About this Event
You are invited to the 2025 Alumni Conference!
This year's theme is "Sustaining our mission in a turbulent world." The big question we have going into 2025 and with several key elections and/or administration changes coming up around the world, how do we sustain good work in the context of political changes, economic uncertainty, pandemics, and all other disruptive forces that characterize our "new normal"?
The format of the event will be changing slightly from previous years. We want to combine the panel discussion and the breakout circles into one fishbowl discussion with rotating speakers. As a community, we are all finding ways to cope with uncertainty, and we would like to invite the community to co-create knowledge, tools, and art in response to the theme. The second change is to the online component, which we've had as alumni-faculty office hours in the past, but will now serve as an alumni "speed dating." And finally, we will have an ‘art corner’ where people can draw, post written thoughts, write a poem, and express creative energy. The final product will be fashioned into an expressive mosaic.
