We are thrilled to announce that this year's Bollywood event will be held on November 8th at the Truro Best Western - Glengarry. We're so excited to celebrate 11 years of Bollywood with our community.It's hard to believe that it's been 11 years since Om and Meena Khanna along with our club started this wonderful event. In those 11 years, we've raised funds for many important initiatives, and community projects.
The Rotary Club of Truro depends on signature events such as our Bollywood evening to raise the funds necessary to support our community. In years past, the funds raised from this event have gone toward important charitable organizations and projects. Some of those include Schools Plus, Boys and Girls Club, Camp Tidnish, Maggie’s Place, CMHA Colchester East Hants Branch, Colchester East Hants Hospice Society, Victoria Park Pool Restoration Project, and Steps on Arthur (previously Colchester Community Workshops). Funds raised also support community members in need with things such as hearing aids, crutches, and other medical necessities.
We will have delicious food once again, prepared by Chef Raj Gupta. It will be a buffet style dinner. We will have entertainment, a silent auction and a cash bar.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.

Chole masala (Chickpea curry with cumin, coriander, and onion)
