Poetry nights will take place:
Friday, November 15th from 6:30 - 8pm
Friday, November 22nd from 6:30 - 8pm
Friday, November 29th immediately following the lighting of Warren’s holiday tree at Town Hall
Call for poets!
Are you 13 years old or older? We’re calling for folks to join us in reading a poem. There will be seven poets each night with one feature poet each evening.

The Details:
The feature poet for each evening will have up to 20 minutes to read. Other poets for each evening will be allotted 8 minutes to read. Between each set there will be a few minutes for Q & A and interaction with the poets themselves.
Join us for three FREE nights of poetry in November presented by George Hail Free Library, Diamond Cutz Barbershop, and The Collaborative! Enjoy refreshments, poems, music, and conversation with local artists young and old. These events will take place at the Collaborative Lab located at 508 Main Street.
We’re calling for folks ages thirteen and up to join us in reading their poetry. We are looking for seven poets, as well as one featured poet, for each poetry night. The featured poet for each evening will have up to twenty minutes to read. Other poets will be allotted eight minutes each to read. Between sets, there will be a few minutes for Q&A and interaction with the poets!
If you are interested in sharing your poetry, sign up for one of the nights. You may choose Friday the 15th, 22nd, or 29th. If you select the 29th as your date, which immediately follows the Holiday Festival tree lighting, we ask that you present poetry that is festive in nature (whatever that means to you).
