111 Minna and Paint the Void are proud to present: “Life is hard but it's better with Art”. The exhibition will display the studio artworks created by a selection of Paint the Void artists amidst the twilight of the coronavirus.

This exhibition marks the re-opening of 111 Minna Gallery after 19 months of closure. We are so excited to present the works of the creative minds that have poured their hearts and souls into beautifying the city during the dark months of isolation and social distancing. Their messages of hope, beauty and resilience on the plywood boards of shuttered businesses played a significant role in reshaping public imagination. With deep bow of gratitude we are excited to share their artwork that can help to reimagine our private spaces as much as their murals did on the streets around our neighborhoods.
EVERYONE ATTENDING THE OPENING NIGHT AND THE EXHIBITION THEREAFTER MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED.

This show includes but a small selection of our Bay Area murals artists, there are 100 more that created murals alongside Paint the Void and many many more who have done so independently of our fundraising effort. For the full list of our artists and their images visit Paint the Void’s map.

*** We're excited to welcome everyone back into the space for next week's industry event. Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the Bay Area, we will require that all attendees present either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test completed within 72 hours at the door upon arrival. Vaccination proof can be presented in a digital format, physical card, or photo on your phone; the final shot should have been administered at least 14 days prior to the event.
In an effort to keep our community safe and prevent further spread of COVID-19, we feel this is very important. Please help communicate our policy to all your fellow attendees to ensure a fun, safe, and healthy evening for everyone.
