This is a follow up event from an event on 11/11/23. We did something called Decks 4 Dental. We had local artists donate their talents toward paint skateboard Decks. This was in benefit for gun violence victim & competitive skateboarder - Quay. After being robbed at gun point, he was shot in the face and survived. He needed some extreme dental work and lived in pain for a whole year.
This benefit is a success story in which he was able to come out of pain. At the event we auctioned off the artist painted skateboard decks & other donations. With the money raised Quay was able to get the tooth shards removed from his gums and heal from his dental needs. Quay met all the wonderful artists who wanted to help and donated their art to a skateboard deck.
We held an auction, live music, open-mic. This resulted in such wonderful talents and spirits coming together.

This will be the 3rd annual event as each one becomes so impactful on the people who take the time out of their busy lives to sit with one another through heavy conversations and be uplifted with music. Come to share what’s weighing on your heart or even just to listen with an open heart. In such a divided time it’s more important than ever to come together and recognize our shared commonalities.
