The 8th May 1945 marked the end of the war in Europe and WWII as a whole.For this 80th anniversary the Parish Council, Village Hall, Tysoe WI and the CCOTS Choir are holding a celebration at the Village Hall on the evening of Saturday 10th May 2025.
You will enjoy:
- A fish and chip supper - yes, with mushy peas
- Ice creams - from Bee and Ridgways Farmhouse Ice Cream
- Something to wash it down - teas, coffees, maybe even a glass of something bubbly
- Community singing - audience participation WILL be required
- A nostalgic film - to be announced in due course
- And more - a few other things are in the works....those that enjoyed Remembrance Day 2024 at the hall will perhaps have an inkling!
We look forward to celebrating, as only a village like Tysoe can.
When : Saturday 10th May 2025
Time : Doors open at 6:00pm - event will run to around 10:00pm latest
