Join us for the 10th Germany Sacred Harp Convention!We will be singing in the lovely community hall at the Waldorfkindergarten/Anthroposophische Gesellschaft, in the Radio Bremen quarter of the historic Hanseatic city of Bremen. Singing will be from the Sacred Harp, 1991 Denson revision - loaner books will be available - and it will be the last Germany Convention to use this edition of the book!
Thursday evening - regular weekly singing 20:00 - 22:00 (please note the venue for Thursday evening is *not* the hall we are using from Friday: further details will be given nearer the time)
Friday evening - Singing School with Michael Walker 19:00 - 21:00 followed by social around the corner at "La Sera"
Saturday - Singing with dinner on the grounds 10:30 - 16:00
Saturday evening - social at Greek restaurant "Daphne"
Sunday - Singing with dinner on the grounds 10:30 - 16:00 (including Memorial Lesson)
Bremen is easily reached by road, rail, air and sea. There are parking spaces at the venue as well as on-street nearby.
Bus and tram stops are within walking distance (best options if travelling from Bremen Hauptbahnhof: tram 1 to Kurfürstenallee, or bus 24 to Loignystraße - either way a 10 minute ride plus 10 minute walk, more or less. Further options with longer walking times are given on the VBN Fahrplaner App).
The singing venue (Friday-Sunday) is wheelchair accessible; however the venue for Thursday evening is not.
