The Rotary Southern Vermont Disc Golf Championship Weekend is approaching soon! It’s our 10th year since we constructed this course and initiated these tournaments.We have much to celebrate, thanks to the 180 volunteers and over 800 disc golf players who have contributed over the past nine years. We are also super thankful for the incredible sponsors that have helped us raise over $84,000 for this amazing fundraiser for our local college scholarships and many other non-profits that we help support.
This year, thanks largely to the incredible volunteers with @Southern Vermont Disc Golf Association, we’re once again enjoying The Beast Layout on both days. For our beginners, participating in the Chuck for Charity Scramble on Saturday, they’ll have the opportunity to try out the brand-new B-Tees.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 4th, and Sunday, October 5th, at Living Memorial Park in Brattleboro, Vermont.
In partnership with The Brattleboro Sunrise Rotary Club, The Brattleboro Rotary Club, Southern Vermont Disc Golf Association, and Brattleboro Parks and Recreation.
The Chuck for Charity Team Scramble - Saturday, October 5th.
This year, we’ve adjusted the start time to 12 noon and introduced the Dubs Team Scramble Format.
In disc golf, the term “Dubs” refers to a team format where two players (a team) collaborate to achieve a combined score. A “scramble” is a specific doubles format where both players on a team get to throw every shot (drive, upshot, and putt). They then play from the location of the best throw of the two. This format often leads to more birdies and is considered a fun way for players of varying skill levels to compete together.

The Rotary Southern Vermont Disc Golf Championship will be held on Sunday, October 5th. It will be two rounds one on the OG layout and the other on The Beast Layout with similar start times to last year.
