We are excited to invite you to this year’s 10th Annual Roberts/Smart (RSC) Fall Classic at Stonebridge Golf Club on September 9, 2024. Over $350,000 has been raised since its inception.
RSC is sometimes referred to as the last line of defence for youth living with complex mental health and behavioural challenges. Most of our youth come from the Ottawa area, but many travel from across the province, as we are one of only a few treatment centres for youth in Ontario. Regardless of where their journey started, all of our youth have one thing in common. Their lives are a struggle and they need a safe place and specialized treatment to help them heal, build resiliency and succeed on their own terms.
The Fall Classic is our major fundraising initiative, and RSC depends on the funds raised to provide vital programs and services – programs that make a world of difference to a young life.
We are pleased to announce that Councillor Tim Tierney will attend as the tournament’s Honourary Chair and guest of honour. We are grateful for his ongoing support of youth mental health and the work of the Roberts/Smart Centre.
You are welcome to arrive anytime after 10:30 a.m. to get registered, mingle, and/or grab a bite of lunch in the clubhouse. The tournament will officially get underway with a shotgun start at 12:00 p.m. Whether participating as an individual golfer or foursome, registration includes a buffet dinner, prizes, and a chance to bid on some great items in the silent auction.
So come join us for a relaxing day on the course – not only does it promise to be fun – but your support will be transformative for the youth and families we work with every day.
