Every year, advocates join together to raise their voices in support of mental health. This year is no exception. We’ll meet in person on Wednesday, January 29, from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. to call on Vermont leaders and legislators. Our key theme focuses on “Hope Starts Here – Prioritize, Invest, and Connect for Mental Wellness.” This event is hosted and organized by NAMI Vermont, Vermont Association for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery, and Vermont Care Partners with the help of cosponsoring organizations. There will be options for people to share their experiences and stories of hope and recovery during the event. Please note that if you plan to share your story in person, you must be there at 9:00 a.m. There are also opportunities to provide testimony at key legislative committees during the week.
Visit namivt.org/mental-health-advocacy-day to register to attend virtually or in person and share your story or testimony.
