Come join the New Paltz Solar Squad (Glenn Geher, Eric Myers, and Raj Pandya) at solar noon (officially at 12:40pm) to celebrate the Autumnal equinox in the foyer of Wooster Hall. The event will include a scientific summary of how the architecture of Wooster is designed to capture solar noon in a special way. We also will have (thanks to the folks in Music Therapy!) a drum circle that will help us count down to solar noon--along with a community singalong of Here Comes the Sun. Free and open to the public--hope to see you there! And yes, your eyes are correct, this will be the 10th annual celebration of the Autumnal Equinox at New Paltz's Stonehenge!
(and yes, we know that the equinox has officially passed--but the weather coupled with scheduling logistics have shaped the timing of this event--the solar effect will still be there!)
