On Friday, April 11, 2025, the Midland County D.A.R.E. program will be hosting its Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at the Messiah Lutheran Church. The event will include dinner, a silent auction, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds from this event are used for the operation of the Midland County D.A.R.E. program, including the cost of educational materials for students and D.A.R.E. Officer training.For over 25 years, the Midland City Police and the Midland County Sheriff’s Office have been providing D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) training to public, private and parochial students within the City of Midland and Midland County. The mission of the Midland County D.A.R.E. program is to empower students to respect others and teach the skills to actively choose to lead lives free from violence, substance abuse, and other dangerous behaviors. As part of the Midland County D.A.R.E.
program, law enforcement officers spend time in the classroom teaching students good decision-making skills to lead safe and healthy lives.
Ticket prices are:
Adults - $10
Adults (60 & over) - $7
Children (4-12 years old) - $5
Children (3 & under) - Free
