About this Event
Louisville magician/autism advocate Cody Clark is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his autism advocacy magic show A Different Way of Thinking! The 10th anniversary performance will be on Sat. Nov. 9th at 7 PM at Highview Arts Center and feature Cody’s full hour show plus plus two also autistic opening acts - Murray, KY magician Jordan Allen – who was directly inspired by Cody to be open about his autism and Nick Teale, a rising Indie Jazz Rocker out of Louisville.
A Different Way of Thinking first premiered ten years ago at the Slant Culture Theatre Festival and has since been presented at 19 different U.S fringe theatre festivals and at colleges, libraries, and disability advocacy orgs throughout the country. This hour-long show combines magic, comedy, and storytelling to share what being autistic is life for Cody and how people with autism are indeed different, but just as capable as everyone else. Everyone will leave seeing how autism is nothing to be scared of, but rather a different way of thinking!
Front row V.I.P. seating is $30, including one free soft drink and complimentary signed show poster. General admission tickets are $20. They can be purchased on Eventbrite, at codyclarkmagic.com/codyfriends or at the door.
