108 Virtual Sun Salutations: Charity Practice in Aid of Anew with Fabiana MizzoniSunday, March 7th ~ 11am-1pm €15/20 donation.
To celebrate Women's Day you are invited to join Fabiana for this very special virtual practice in aid of Anew. This revitalising session gives you the chance to experience the ancient practice of saluting the Sun. This is a special opportunity to elevate your physical and spiritual practice for the benefit of a fantastic charity.
This online session will open with a brief description of the class format, and a chance to ask any questions you may have. Fabiana will demonstrate the salutation and offer some variations depending on what suits you best that day. She will guide you through a little warm up, and then together we will practice nine blocks of twelve traditional stepping sun salutations, with mini breaks in between. The repetition of movements allows you to gradually move inward, experiencing a moving meditation. After completing 108 rounds we will wind down with some grounding asanas, and close our session with a long savasana.
Please note the following: This practice is open to all students with a yoga practice, but is not suitable for beginners, during pregnancy, or if you are recovering from an injury. Drink plenty of water beforehand, avoid alcohol and caffeine in the 24 hours before, and avoid any heavy meals in the 90 mins before class.

Anew Support Services is a charitable organisation that provides practical and emotional support to pregnant women and new mothers who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness. Anew can provide temporary supported accommodation for up to four women at any time.
