About this Event
This class will teach the mechanics of utilizing Revit as an authoring software for BIM designs. You will learn how to draw, coordinate, and create sheet install drawings using the Revit software. As well as needing the "hard skills" of using the software BIM Operators need the "soft skills" of communication with those that are adjacent to the construction field worker and those skills will also be discussed. The correct candidate for this class will have field detailing experience and an understanding of how piping systems work. Basic computer skills are a hard requirement for this class (understanding folder structures on a PC, writing and sending emails, understanding file types) and students will be asked not to take this class until they have these skills.
