In honor of the 100th year of Black History Month, please join Springwood Avenue Heritage Walk in celebrating Asbury Park’s West Side and a century of Black commemorations along the Ave. Come hang out at our in person Community Conversation event. • Enjoy an afternoon of celebrating Black history with guest speakers and performances –– Ty Laws, Jason Jennings (The Rebirth Church), Wanda Smith, Jen Sauder (Asbury Park African-American Music Project), and Felicia Simmons (West Side Community Center/WCC Historic Renovation Association Inc.).
• Learn about and get involved in Springwood Avenue Heritage Walk’s effort to gather and document community voices
