A commemoration ceremony on the 100th Anniversary of the departure of the World War I Unknown Soldier from Le Havre, France to the United States in 1921 and the USS Olympia’s mission to bring the Unknown Soldier home.We are excited to be welcoming members of the US Navy Band, Marine Corps Silent Drill team, and Color Guard to the event.
Due to the size constraints and COVID considerations, we are making this an invite-only event, but with that being said, we will live stream the ceremony on the Independence Seaport Museum Facebook page.
