About this Event
After a short ride from Chicago you join our rafting guides for this one day whitewater rafting excursion. Laugh, shout and have the time of your life as you repeat your thrill ride over and over again! Through the years over 200,000 rafters have experienced the excitement on this special 1/2 mile section of continuous whitewater. This Waterway draws Olympic winners and National Champions. It is an excellent introduction to whitewater rafting. Whether you come alone or in a group, you can expect to have a great time! These trips sold out last year so register early. THIS AMAZING LOW PRICE INCLUDES:
- Roundtrip bus transportation
- 3 hours of whitewater rafting with exclusive access to the best portion of the river, during the first 1/2 hour the park is reserved for Discovery Center only!
- Group leader, orientation and rafting instruction.
- Rafts, paddles,life jackets and helmets.
- Rafts for 2 to 5 people (you can raft with only your group of friends or we will pair you).
Bring towel, & dry change of clothes including shoes with ankle straps (no flip flops). Plan to arrive early Sunday (7:00am-7:15am) for orientation, coffee and donuts. Trips return approximately 6pm.
Trip departs by bus from Discovery Center 4318 N Elston Ave. We are going to the river (approximately 100 miles east of Chicago). If you wish to drive notify us upon registration. Directions provided upon registration. Group rates available for groups of 6 or more.

IMPORTANT: If you must cancel, you must notify our office at least 3 days prior to the trip in order to receive a class credit voucher. In case weather/river conditions prohibit rafting, the trip will be rescheduled to another date or alternate river, there will be no refunds in this event.
