✨ 100 Years of Gatsby – A Black Tie Soirée ✨This autumn, we gather in Rome to celebrate the centenary of The Great Gatsby – a novel that still whispers of glamour, longing, and the art of living well.
🍸 Saturday 15 November – in the Belle Époque room of 'Gusto (near Piazza Navona), an evening of elegance, literature, and conviviality will unfold. Guests will enjoy prohibition-era cocktails, canapés, and an aperitivo rinforzato, framed by live jazz and conversation.
The programme includes:
– Two short talks on Gatsby’s legacy and the drinking culture of Prohibition
– A live cocktail-making demonstration by a professional mixologist
– Jazz performances by a live trio and readings from Fitzgerald’s novel
– A themed trivia round to win a bottle of Champagne 🥂
– A small memento from the evening
🏛️ Weekend programme – Optional activities across the weekend (Friday–Sunday) will include heritage walks, aperitivi in historic hotels, and visits to vintage ateliers and cafés — ideal for those joining from outside Rome.
💶 Tickets: €25 (payable on the night) — includes prosecco, prohibition cocktail, canapés, aperitivo rinforzato and all programme elements (except optional weekend activities).
