Wild Eye is delighted to bring an enlightening talk with local geologist Stuart Swann as we delve into the region's fascinating geological history spanning 100 million years!
What to Expect:
Stuart Swann will present an exploration of Scarborough and the surrounding area's geological landscape, covering the formation of its rocks and the fossil evidence that tells the story of its ancient past.
After the talk, you'll have the chance to view a selection of local fossils up close. Stuart will provide insights into their origins and significance. Have a fossil you’re curious about? Bring it along! Stuart will assist in identifying and discussing your personal finds, offering expert advice and fostering a shared enthusiasm for geology.
