Date: Thursday, 20 February 2025
Location: Yes, S.F. HQ at 220 Montgomery Street, S.F. CA 94104
Time: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Join us for a special evening to celebrate Black History Month and Women's History Month with an engaging presentation by a local woman artist. Inspired by the tragic M**der of George Floyd in 2020, Carol Jacobsen was compelled to dedicate the past four years to painting portraits of Black women whose stories have been overlooked in history. Each of the over 100 women Carol has painted is an accomplished individual who has overcome the dual challenges of race and gender to achieve their goals and make meaningful contributions to society. Through her vibrant portraits and compelling storytelling, Carol brings their stories to life, aiming to educate and inspire audiences of all ages.
Seating is limited. Register to attend and bring friends to this special night of connections with others (a.k.a. network) and to see and learn new stories about unsung women heroes.
