About this Event
Each semester , SCAD hosts SCAD Day, which allows perspective students to explore and tour different areas, majors and career paths. On November 8th, as part of 100 Black Men of Savannah's Youth Leadership Academy (YLA) session, we'll meet up at the SCAD Museum of Art and begin what could be a fun and informational session. Please note that registration is required and can be done up until the day before the event (Friday, November 7th). Please see link: Request For Information - SCAD.
Also, please note:
- The registration form is just for SCAD to gather information on guests to predict needs for staffing and to see which areas gain the most interest. It doesn't designate a specific area or experience for the event.
- Fill out the form as you see fit for it will not impact anyone's SCAD day schedule. Be sure to include number of guests where asked. Parents--please assist with registration and feel free to come.
- For the YLA mentees--to make the session easier and within session time, collectively we may pick an area like Film and Television or Animation to view as a group and if time allows within our 2 hour period, choose a second area to view.
- Please arrive 15-30 minutes earlier to ensure that we move as a group. The SCAD Museum of Art is the check-in point and transportation hub. SCAD will have color-coded bus routes to take guests to areas of interests. Again, we will travel together once we view times and locations and decide as a group what we will see first.
- If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me, Tyrone A Acker (100 BMOS Membership Secretary) at (912)695-7870; [email protected].
