About this Event
In 2015, we started with just 12 women in Toronto, believing, “Build it—they will come.” And they did. By the spring of 2016, our community had skyrocketed from 400 to 4,000 in just two months, becoming a safe space for Black women to connect, share, and unite. That fall, we took the next step and incorporated as a non-profit in Canada, focusing on making a tangible impact offline. Today, Black Moms Connection (BMC) is a global online village of nearly 40,000, with chapters in cities across North America and Asia.
