The word Trataka means 'Steady Gazing' . It means focusing the mind on one point, also a good technique to reduce stress and enhance peace of mind. Traditional texts of yoga describe the benefits of Trataka on a whole range of physiological and cognitive functions. Some of the other benefits are:
